Established by Jean Minskoff Grant in honor of her daughter, Donna Sands '82, this fund supports the Donna Sands Dramatic Arts book collection.

Pam Zbehlik '78 Memorial Fund

Established in memory of Pam Zbehlik '78, this fund awards a prize to students who excel in world history and provides world history books. The multiple charitable gift annuities of Jaroslav and Desley Zbehlik, Pam's parents, have augmented this fund.

Beyond the Call Award

Endowed by the 15th Head of School John Green and his wife, Alison Zaeder, in recognition of the dedication of the entire Peddie staff, this award is bestowed annually upon an individual staff member whose distinguished service represents our school’s shared community values.

John W. Doherty '62 Award for Research in Modern Global History

Established by the Doherty family in honor of 2nd Lt. John W. Doherty '62, this award is presented to that student who, in the opinion of the history faculty, has completed the research project which best demonstrates curiosity, strong scholarship and the diligent habits of mind necessary to become a global citizen in the 21st century.

Dr. Henry Kissinger Award for Citizenship and Diplomacy

Established by David and Molly Helfet and their son, AJ '10, this award is bestowed at commencement to a senior who has demonstrated at Peddie a mature sense of citizenship and diplomacy, advancing understanding throughout the Peddie community.

Henry A. Klie '36 Tour Guide Award

Established by Henry A. Klie '36, this award is given to the admissions tour guide who is ardently devoted and enthusiastically represents Peddie School.

Miller Reading Prize

Established by Reverend Dr. and Mrs. Lee Miller '56 in memory of his parents, Saylor W. and Evelyn R. Miller, this fund honors students in 9th, 10th, and 11th grades demonstrating the greatest improvement in reading.

Ray Oram Biology Prize

Established in honor of former Science Department Chair and distinguished teacher Ray Oram P'85 '91, this prize is awarded to students who demonstrated great enthusiasm for, and high achievement in, the study of biology.

Frederick G. Wagner '27 Endowed Fund in Honor of Heister Hornberger

Established through a bequest of Frederick G. Wagner '27 and his children Frederick R. Wagner '66 and Paula Wagner Lietz in honor of Master Heister Hornberger, this prize is awarded to students outstanding in mathematics.

Roy Brown Wintersteen Prize

Established by Revered Rescott B. Wintersteen and his sisters in memory of their father, Roy Brown Wintersteen, this prize is awarded to the most gifted student in calculus.

W.W. Wyckoff Fund

Established by his family in honor of William W. Wycoff 1895, former trustee, this prize, the highest award bestowed by Peddie for ability, character and attainment, is awarded to a student who has completed his or her junior and senior years.

Hari Moorthy and Lavanya Hari P’22 Goldman Sachs Fund for Mindfulness and Meditation

Established through the vision of Hari Moorthy and Lavanya Hari P’22 and with the support of Goldman Sachs, this fund provides support for mindfulness and meditation programs, workshops and experiences, by making these programs accessible to all students, as well as professional development and training for faculty and staff.

Dr. Carrol O. Morong Fund for Ethics

Established in honor of Carrol O. Morong, Peddie’s 11th headmaster and father of C. Oscar Morong '53, through a gift of the Morong Family Charitable Trust, the fund promotes ethical living in the Peddie community.

Cory Wingerter '01 Student Council “Fun” Fund

Established by Carol and Cory G. Wingerter in honor of their son, Cory '01, this fund supports a variety of projects proposed by the Student Council, specifically weekday events designed to keep a healthy balance between academics and school life.

Charles Ascher '52 designated his charitable gift annuity established in 2001 and two additional annuities to provide assistance for the incidental needs of financial aid students.

Martin C. Battestin '48 Scholarship Fund

The late Martin A. Battestin, father of Martin '48, designated one-third of his charitable remainder unitrust under will, effective 2007, for financial assistance to students.

Mort Goldfein '59 designated his charitable gift annuity established in 1998 for financial assistance with preference for students historically underrepresented in independent schools.

Stephen P. Toadvine III '48 designated a bequest for the creation of this fund to enhance the student life program. The fund will enable faculty and staff to serve as mentors, role models and even surrogate parents, inspiring bonds with students that can last a lifetime.

The Marino M. Torres Memorial Fund

Diane and Robert Torres '60 designated their charitable remainder unitrust established in 1999 for the Marino M. Torres Endowed Director of Development, named in memory of Robert’s father, and to help expand activities in the Office of Alumni and Development.
