Health Services

Health and wellness are important for teenagers.

A full-time campus physician and a team of registered nurses provide care to our students at the Hensle Health Center when illness or injuries occur. Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the center houses two exam rooms and eight beds for when observation and care are necessary. Students may remain overnight under the care of our nurses.

All medications, whether prescription or over-the-counter, are dispensed to students by a nurse. Our doctor, nurses and athletic trainers work in concert to manage a range of health service needs, including maintaining electronic medical records, concussion care and baseline IMPACT testing.

Adjacent to the Hensle Health Center, the Yu Center provides counseling services to students. Two full-time psychologists provide intervention and support to any student in need.
