The Walter H. Annenberg Library, which opened in 1993, is the heart of the Peddie academic curriculum and our campus-wide information network. With the ready availability of the library staff, numerous computer network ports, and our extensive collection, students can do research, study, and read leisure materials in an environment supportive of each person's needs. Our goal is to provide the assistance that students need to become independent library users so they will feel comfortable and competent in any college or university library.

A good library goes far beyond its bookshelves. With the Peddie Information Network and Peddie-provided laptops, students can access the library services from any dormitory room, from home or wherever they have access to the internet.

Students routinely use:
  • Online reference sources and periodical databases for such titles as The New York Times dating back to 1851.
  • Our 33,000-volume collection.
  • More than 150 current periodicals and extensive back issues of periodicals in print, microfilm, and online.
  • More than 4,000 videos, CDs, and DVDs.
  • A bibliographic instruction program developed to help students acquire good information-gathering skills.
  • Quiet study areas, as well as group-study rooms.
