Important Information

COVID policies

Please note that The Peddie School and Summer at Peddie strive to keep our entire community safe at all times. COVID policies update and change frequently. We are working diligently to monitor changes in the COVID landscape and will draft policies that are in line with industry standards. We will post our policies for Summer 2024 as soon as possible.

Transcript Requests

Peddie Summer Day School requires written permission from parents/guardians to release transcripts and grades to students' schools. Please complete the following form to indicate whether or not you wish a transcript of your student's summer school work be sent to their school. Parents/Guardians will receive a final grade report, not a transcript. Transcripts will only be sent to schools upon completion of this form.

Refund policy

Summer at Peddie asks that you consider your registration prior to finalizing with a payment.

All deposit payments are non-refundable.

Questions, concerns and requests for refunds should be directed to Jim Truslow at

Rules and Regulations

Students are expected to treat all persons and facilities with respect at all times. Rules are the same as those of the full-year Peddie program. Use of alcohol or prohibited drugs on campus will result in dismissal from the program. Academic and personal dishonesty will also be dealt with severely. Smoking and vaping are not allowed on campus. Parents will be informed immediately of any rule violations and their consequences (For details, see the Student Handbook). Regular class attendance is expected. Absences? Call the Summer School Office at 609-944-7658.

Honors and Credit Courses — missed class policy: Students who are taking courses for credit should make every effort to attend every class; each summer-class day covers the equivalent of one week's work during the full school year. Students will be held accountable for all material missed during absences. Students who miss more than four days of classes for any reason, excused or unexcused, will not be recommended for credit. There are no refunds for classes or days missed for any reason. Questions? Please contact the Summer School office at 609-944-7658.

Special Requests

Requests can be made to place students together in a section; each student's parent/guardian must email to make this request. While every effort will be made to honor these requests, there are no guarantees. Requests for specific teachers are not accepted.

Drop Off and Pickup

Changes are being made to the summer drop-off and pick-up policy. Instructions for drop-off and pick-up will be communicated well in advance of the first day of class.

AfterCare and afternoon activities

We will be providing aftercare options for families this summer. Aftercare will be a combination of supervised study hall time and a variety of fun physical activities.
