Summer programming has been offered at Peddie for close to 100 years. Aligning our summer offerings with the Peddie School mission, our programming is centered around our flagship Summer Day School, which offers more than 30 academic courses for students in grades 6-12.
In addition to continuing to offer our top-notch academic program, Summer Day School will be partnering with athletic, tech, and additional outside programs to offer students balanced and well-rounded growth opportunities. Explore our offerings below - we hope to see you this summer!
Summer Day School at Peddie is a six-week session geared toward rising sixth-through-twelfth graders. Students can choose from a variety of courses across disciplines, and classes are small, with no more than 12-16 students per section. Our credit math program is second-to-none and offers advancing credit in courses from Pre-Algebra through Calculus AB. Essay Writing and English classes develop students' advanced writing and comprehension skills to prepare them for middle school and the transition to high school, and enrichment courses reinforce skills, boost confidence and move students closer to fulfilling their academic goals.
Rounding out the Summer Day School experience, Peddie Summer programs host a selective number of extracurricular camps on campus offering athletic, tech and STEM opportunities in our world-class facilities.
After 25 years, the Peddie Summer Theater and Green Apple programs have hosted their last performances. Due to upcoming plans to renovate the Peddie arts facilities, we are currently unable to offer summer arts programs, but hope to bring arts back to our summer programming in the near future.
