Parent Giving

Peddie strives to make tuition affordable while sustaining small classes and student-to-faculty ratio. Because tuition and fees do not cover the cost of what it takes to provide a Peddie education each year, the school relies on gifts of all sizes to help make up the difference. Your participation in The Peddie Parent Fund clearly demonstrates that Peddie is an excellent school with strong support from key stakeholders. It shows your satisfaction and belief in the school’s mission to those outside the school, such as prospective families, foundations and rating agencies.

Peddie’s success has been the direct result gifts both large and small. We continue to rely on the participation of every Peddie parent to provide the best possible experience for our students. Gifts of any size support the current school year and make a difference. We hope each family will participate according to their means. During the 2017-2018 school year, 301 current families raised $1,139,254 for The Peddie Parent Fund, 43 percent of the total Peddie Fund.

Parents of Peddie students play an important role in advancing the mission of the school. As donors, advocates and ambassadors for the school, Parent Volunteers for The Peddie Fund assist the Office of Alumni and Development by reaching out to other parents through phone calls, letters, emails and social media to keep them informed about the happenings at Peddie, while encouraging them to increase their involvement with The Peddie Fund.
