Class Representatives serve as liaisons between the Alumni & Development office and their classmates, sharing updates from campus. This is a renewed definition of the former Class Agent role and is designed to inspire engagement among classmates.

Class representatives are encouraged to volunteer for a multi-year commitment – ideally between milestone reunion years – at which point, in consultation with the Alumni and Development office, they can decide whether or not they would like to renew their commitment. Class Secretaries collect personal and professional updates, along with photos, from their classmates and submit them to the Peddie Chronicle editor for publication in Class Notes. Class secretaries significantly contribute to maintaining the bi-annual Peddie Chronicle Class Notes as an informative and enjoyable resource for alumni to stay connected with the Peddie community.

Admission Ambassadors provide a range of opportunities for alumni, alumni families, and current families to assist the Admission office with recruitment efforts. The flexibility of the program allows ambassadors to be involved in as many activities as they like. 

Admission Ambassadors are encouraged to volunteer for one year, at which point, in consultation with the Alumni and Development office, they can decide whether or not they would like to renew their commitment.

Guest Speakers and Panelists – Virtual and On-Campus are featured guest presenters at virtual and in-person events on campus.

Guest Speakers and Panelists are encouraged to volunteer to be called on when needed. Each year,  in consultation with the Alumni and Development office, they can decide whether or not they would like to renew their commitment.

Small-Gathering Hosts or Leaders create opportunities for alumni, alumni families, and/or current families in their geographical areas to get together casually and maintain Peddie connections. These events can happen with or without a Peddie staff member in attendance, but Peddie will always provide any support possible. Hosts are defined as volunteers who wish to underwrite the entire event. Leaders are defined as volunteers who want to help get people to the event.

Small-Gathering Hosts or Leaders are encouraged to volunteer to host or lead small gatherings annually or every other year if possible. Each year, in consultation with the Alumni and Development office, they can decide whether or not they would like to renew their commitment.

Event Hosts or Leaders agree to host national or international gatherings for alumni, alumni families, and/or current families, help raise awareness of these events, and offer to underwrite the cost. These events usually have either the Head of School or a lead Peddie staff member in attendance. Hosts are defined as volunteers who wish to underwrite the entire event. Leaders are defined as volunteers who want to help get people to the event.

Event Hosts or Leaders are encouraged to volunteer to host or lead events annually or every other year if possible. Each year, in consultation with the Alumni and Development office, they can decide whether or not they would like to renew their commitment.
