Immerse yourself in Asian culture with the Asian Studies Signature Experience. Investigate Eastern culture through a powerful combination of in-classroom and out-of-classroom experiences.

You'll achieve proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and take electives focusing on the history, culture, religion and politics of China, India, Japan and more. You'll have the opportunity to travel to an Asian country and conduct an independent research project based on that experience. You'll take a leadership role in Peddie’s cultural exchange program by hosting students from sister EFZ, our sister school in Shanghai. While our visitors are here, you'll help to organize and attend events including guest lectures, Asian films and authentic cuisine. You may travel to EFZ yourself, living with host families and experiencing Shanghai firsthand.
