In Film and Video students are exposed to the process of producing short films from pitching a story, to scriptwriting and storyboarding, planning and casting, shooting video, capturing audio, and editing it all together. In the first term composition and camera fundamentals are stressed.  During the course, students make increasingly complex films culminating in a festival-ready five minute short.  Additionally, the class will view many short films and feature length theatrical films to provide insight into the use of light, sound, and shot composition.
