Field Hockey – Varsity Girls at Princeton Day School

The Peddie varsity girls field hockey team (6-4) fell to Princeton Day School, 5-3, on the road. Anna Treese tallied her 100th career point, on a goal off a penalty corner with 12:08 left in the third quarter. The goal was assisted by Mikala Kuser. Kuser also added a goal with 13:53 left in the second period. Lucy Guarini scored an unassisted goal with 3:45 left in the third quarter. Goalkeeper Sophia Pei made five saves. The Falcons next travel to Mercersburg Academy on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1:30 p.m.
Tennis – Varsity Girls at Hightstown High School
The Peddie varsity girls tennis team (9-2) defeated Hightstown High School, 5-0, on the road. Alice Asmar played her first varsity match at second doubles and won 6-3, 7-5, with Coco Zhou.
Brielle Quaye won at first singles, 6-3, 6-1.
Victoria Vahi won at second singles, 6-1, 6-0.
Sophie Wang won at third singles, 6-1, 6-1.
Eloise Mendelson and Ely Ting won at first doubles, 6-1, 6-0.
The Falcons next travel to Mercersburg Academy on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m.
Tennis – JV Girls vs. Hightstown High School
The Peddie junior varsity girls tennis team (4-2-1) defeated Hightstown High School, 3-1, at home. Salma Chebli and Helen Armuand won at first doubles. Grace Zheng and Hedy Cai won at second doubles. Mira Singhai won in a singles matchup. The Falcons next travel to Delbarton School to face Morristown Beard School on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 4 p.m.
Soccer – JV Boys vs. The Hun School of Princeton
The Peddie junior varsity boys soccer team (3-2) defeated The Hun School of Princeton, 4-1, at home. Wyatt Raya scored three goals, all in the first half. Simon Xi also added a goal in the first half. The Falcons next travel to Solebury School on Friday, Oct. 3 at 4 p.m.

Soccer – Varsity Girls vs. Montclair Kimberley Academy
The Peddie varsity girls soccer team (3-3-2) played to a 2-2 tie with Montclair Kimberley Academy, after two 10-minute overtime periods, at home. Addie Rosenberg knotted the score at 1, after following Reese Kowal’s shot off the crossbar with 18:49 left in the second half. Tessa Hughes would knot the score at 2 with 9:50 left in the second half. The Falcons next travel to Mercersburg Academy on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1:30 p.m.

The Peddie junior varsity girls soccer team (2-2) defeated Montclair Kimberley Academy, 1-0, at home. Anh Tran scored a goal in the first half. Goalkeeper Bella Borde made a key save in the second half. The Falcons next travel to The Pennington School on Friday, Oct. 3 at 4:30 p.m.
Soccer – Varsity Boys at North Brunswick Township High School
The Peddie varsity boys soccer team (5-3) fell to North Brunswick Township High School, 2-1, after overtime, on the road. Tommy Kim scored a goal for the Falcons in the first half, assisted by John Giblin. North Brunswick knotted the score at 1 in the second half. Goalkeeper Pote Sophonsiri made eight saves. The Falcons next travel to Mercersburg Academy on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1:30 p.m.
Field Hockey – Varsity Girls at Morristown Beard School
The Peddie varsity girls field hockey team (6-3) defeated Morristown Beard School, 4-0, on the road. Mikala Kuser had one goal (second period) one assist. Keren Cruz-Lozada (second period), Cailyn Butts (second period) and Mary Kate Giblin (fourth quarter) also added a goal. Ola Adamska had three assists. Anna Treese had one assist. Goalkeeper Sophia Pei made five saves. The Falcons next travel to Princeton Day School on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 3:45 p.m.
