Golf – Varsity Boys vs. George School
The Peddie varsity boys golf team (1-0) defeated George School, 205-215, in a season and home opener. Andrew Ma tallied a team-best 36. James Derfner and Oscar Jiang each recorded a 41. The Falcons next host Rutgers Preparatory School on Thursday, March 26 at 4 p.m. at Peddie Golf Club.
Golf – JV Boys vs. George School
The Peddie junior varsity boys golf team (1-0) defeated George School, 184-221, in a season and home opener. Sam Cohen tallied a team-best 44 and Noah Kerlin recorded a 45. The Falcons next travel to The Lawrenceville School on Monday, April 6 at 4:30 p.m.
Golf – Varsity Girls vs. George School
Golf – Varsity Girls at Moorestown Girls Golf Invitational
The Peddie varsity girls golf team opened the season competing in the Moorestown Girls Golf Invitational, at Moorestown Field Club. As a team, the Falcons placed second behind the host team, with a 126.
Individually, Jane Wei placed third (38), Ryland Portadin (43) placed seventh, Ruoyi Zhai (45) was ninth and Freja Jensen was 11th (46). Wei also won the long drive on the sixth hole.
The Falcons next host West Windsor-Plainsboro South High School in a home opener on Thursday, March 26 at 4 p.m. at Peddie Golf Club.
Indoor Track – Varsity Coed at Eastern States Championships
Peddie indoor track and field competed at the 2025-2026 Eastern States Championships at The Armory Track & Field Center, to conclude the season.
Tessa Hughes ’26 placed fourth in the girls 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.26, an All-East and Peddie record.

Indoor Track – Varsity Coed at The Circuit – Philly
Aldrin Bonilla, Dasyer Bullock, Charis Chien, Luke Chon, Lilyana Gordon, Tessa Hughes, Safiyyah Malik, Luca Romanelli and Erin Tam of Peddie varsity indoor track and field competed at The CIRCUIT – Philly, at The Ott Center – The University of Pennsylvania.
Tessa Hughes placed sixth in the girls 60-meter hurdles (9.10). Hughes also placed 13th in the girls 400-meter dash (59.17).
Lilayana Gordon placed 10th in the girls 400-meter dash (1:03.15). Charis Chien placed 15th in the girls 400-meter dash (1:04.83).
Erin Tam placed 11th in the girls triple jump (9.42 meters).
Luca Romanelli placed ninth in the boys 800-meter run (1:59.40).
Aldrin Bonilla placed 13th in the boys 400-meter dash (53.99)

Basketball – Varsity Boys New Jersey Prep Open Tournament – vs. TBD
Wrestling – Varsity Coed at National Prep Wrestling Championships
The Peddie varsity wrestling team closed out the season and competed in the second of two days of the National Prep Wrestling Championships, at Lehigh University. Out of 281 recognized schools, the Falcons placed 21st overall, the team’s best finish in over a decade.
Zane Shama went 2-2 and closed out the season with a 24-18 record. AJ Stover and Ryan Horner each went 3-2 and both made it to the blood round finishing top 12 overall. Stover finished the season 39-10 overall and Horner tallied a 34-12 record.
Landon Lill went 6-2, finishing seventh overall and earning All-American status, Peddie’s first freshman to do so since 2007. He was one of nine freshmen in the entire tournament who placed.
On the girls side, captain Sarah Karlekar made it to the semifinals and was just one match shy of placing. Addie Collins had a notable performance going 2-2 on the weekend.

Basketball – Varsity Boys Perkiomen School
The Peddie varsity boys basketball team (23-9) defeated Perkiomen School, 85-80, at home on Senior Day and the final game of the season. Cooper Clark, student-manager James Derfner, Emir Deldag, Sean Griffin (PG), Gabe Hornberger, Jack Mahoney, Raffy Thompson and Honor Withers Carello were recognized for Senior Day prior to the game. Gabe Hornberger scored a team-high 29 points, on seven 3-pointers. Emir Deldag added a season-high 17 points, on five 3-pointers. Ethan Nelson tallied 15 points.
Indoor Track – Varsity Coed at Hill Last Chance Meet
Peddie indoor track and field competed in the Hill Last Chance Meet at The Hill School.

Wrestling – Varsity Coed at National Prep Wrestling Championships
Basketball – Varsity Boys at New Jersey Prep Open Tournament – vs. The Patrick School
The third-seeded Peddie varsity boys basketball team (22-9) fell to The Patrick School (second seed), 97-68, in the 2025-2026 NJ Prep Open Tournament Semifinals, at MultiSports Kingdom in Manalapan. Gabe Hornberger scored a team-high 19 points. Sean Griffin added 14 points. Josiah Broko tallied 13 points. The Falcons next host Perkiomen School in the final game of the season, on Senior Day, on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 3 p.m. at Erik B. Hanson ’83 Field House, Court 1.
