Baseball – Varsity Boys at Blair Academy
The Peddie varsity boys baseball team (7-1) defeated Blair Academy, 9-2, on the road. Brody Buchner pitched a complete-game victory and Eduard Fernandez hit a two-run home run. The Falcons next host The Lawrenceville School on Wednesday, April 22 at 4:30 p.m. at William M. Thompson ’35 Baseball Field.
Softball – Varsity Girls at Blair Academy
The Peddie varsity girls softball team (4-6) defeated Blair Academy, 13-4, on the road. The Falcons scored eight runs in the top of the seventh inning. Jules Miele pitched a complete game (seven innings), allowing four runs (three earned), on seven hits, struck out 13 and walked five. At the plate, she went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored. Ariana Gomez hit a solo home run and went 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Grace Lee went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI. Iris Lin went 2-for-4 with a run scored. The Falcons next host Allentown High School on Wednesday, April 22 at 4:30 p.m. at the Varsity Softball Field.
Lacrosse – Varsity Girls vs. Stuart Country Day School
The Peddie varsity girls lacrosse team (5-3) defeated Stuart Country Day School, 17-7, at home. Anna Treese had tallied nine goals, two assists and 10 draw controls. Lexie Hoffman added four goals. Mary Kate Giblin added two goals and three draw controls. Runyao Yuan had one goal. Goalkeeper Mikala Kuser made eight saves. The Falcons next travel to Perkiomen School on Wednesday, April 22 at 4:30 p.m.
Lacrosse – Varsity Boys at Princeton Day School
Golf – Varsity Boys vs. West Windsor-Plainsboro South High School
The Peddie varsity boys golf team (8-1) defeated West Windsor-Plainsboro South High School, 154-174, at home. Clark Hu tallied a team-best 36, carding nine pars for a clean card. Sam Cohen and Andrew Ma each had a 39. Brayden Chen recorded a 40 and Oscar Jiang had a 41.The Falcons next compete in the 27th Annual Blue Devil Golf Invitational, at Echo Lake Country Club on Monday, April 20 at 12 p.m.
Lacrosse – Varsity Girls at Hightstown High School
The Peddie varsity girls lacrosse team (4-3) defeated Hightstown High School, 9-7, on the road. The Falcons won the draw with 1:14 left in the fourth quarter to secure the ball. Mary Kate Giblin tallied five goals, two assists and two draw controls. Anna Treese added one goal and five assists and five draw controls. Katherine Baker, Lexie Hoffman and Heidi Luer each had a goal. Goalkeeper Mikala Kuser made 10 saves. The Falcons next host Stuart Country Day School on Friday, April 17 at 4:30 p.m. at the Outdoor Turf Field.
Golf – Varsity Girls vs. Allentown High School and Moorestown High School
The Peddie varsity girls golf team (7-1) competed in a tri-meet vs. Allentown High School and Moorestown High School, at home. The Falcons won one match and lost one. Moorestown scored a 158, Peddie had a 165 and Allentown had a 205. In the win over Allentown, Jane Wei tallied a team-best 36. The Falcons next travel to Princeton Country Club to face West Windsor-Plainsboro South High School on Wednesday, April 22 at 3 p.m.
Lacrosse – Varsity Boys at The Hun School of Princeton
The Peddie varsity boys lacrosse team (4-2) fell to The Hun School of Princeton, 12-8, on the road. Devin Dzwolak scored a team-high three goals. John Giblin added two goals and an assist. Augie Cassidy, Jack Mahoney and Aaron Uppal each recorded a goal. Christian Tharney had three assists. Goalkeeper Rocco Annunziata made 24 saves. The Falcons next host The Shipley School on Wednesday, April 22 at 4:30 p.m. at the Outdoor Turf Field.
Baseball – Varsity Boys at The Hill School
The Peddie varsity boys baseball team (6-1) defeated The Hill School, 6-5, on the road. Eduard Fernandez went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs scored and two stolen bases. Jonathan Stizza went 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Haruo Narita went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a walk. Jaden Heble went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Evan Treese started on the mound. The Falcons next travel to Blair Academy on Saturday, April 18 at 2 p.m.
Softball – Varsity Girls at The Hill School
The Peddie varsity girls softball team (3-6) The Hill School, 14-4, in five innings on the road. Sam Kent went 2-for-3 with a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base. Noemi Ortiz went 2-for-2 with two doubles, an RBI, a walk and a stolen base. The Falcons next travel to Blair Academy on Saturday, April 18 at 2 p.m.
Outdoor Track – Varsity Coed vs. The HIll School, The Lawrenceville School, Pennington School
The Peddie outdoor track and field team competed against The Hill School, The Lawrenceville School and The Pennington School, at home. The 4×400-meter mixed relay team consisting of Luke Chon, Dasyer Bullock, Erin Tam and Tessa Hughes broke a school record with a 3:51.02. The girls 4×100-meter relay team consisting of Safiyyah Malik, Folukie Oladeji, Erin Tam and Tessa Hughes broke a school record with a 49.74. Foluke Oladeji broke a school record in the girls 100-meter dash with a 12.37, besting Deja Cunningham’s 12.3 hand-timed record. Tessa Hughes tied her own record (set in 2024) in the girls 100-meter hurdles with a 14.88.
The Falcons next compete in The Lawrenceville School Senior Day Invitational on Wednesday, April 22 at 4 p.m. at The Lawrenceville School.
Tennis – Varsity Boys at Hopewell Valley Central High School
The Peddie varsity boys tennis team (4-3) fell to Hopewell Valley Central High School, 3-2, on the road at Timberlane Middle School.
Logan Huang won 6-0, 6-1 at first singles.
Trin Pathomsak won 6-1, 6-4 at third singles.
The Falcons next host Mercersburg Academy on Saturday, April 25 at 1 p.m. at the Tennis Courts.
