Baseball – Varsity Boys at NJISAA Prep A Tournament vs. The Hun School of Princeton
The second-seeded Peddie varsity boys baseball team (12-7) fell to top-seeded The Hun School of Princeton, 13-3, in six innings in the first game of the NJISAA Prep A Tournament Championship Series. Hun wins the title after going 3-0 in the tournament. Eduard Fernandez drove in Kadin Huling from first base to knot the score at 1 with two outs in the top of the third inning. The Falcons scored two more runs in the top of the fifth inning, both runs on passed balls. Nick Famularo started the game on the mound and pitched 4 ⅓ innings. Maverick Mullervy entered the game in relief. Hun hit back-to-back home runs with one out in the bottom of the fifth inning for a 9-3 lead (three-run and solo).
Baseball – Varsity Boys at NJISAA Prep A Tournament vs. Blair Academy
The Peddie varsity boys baseball team (second seed) (12-6) defeated fourth-seeded Blair Academy, 10-1, in the elimination game of the NJISAA Prep A Tournament, at The Hun School of Princeton. The Falcons scored five runs in the bottom of the first inning for a 5-0 lead. Evan Treese ’28 pitched a complete game, seven innings, allowing one earned run, striking out four and walking two.
“My velocity was there, my breaking ball was working well and I was pitching with the lead, so I was really confident,” Treese said.
“He was able to locate his breaking balls early and was able to use every pitch well. Even when he fell behind, he battled through and got us out of big innings,” Fernandez said on Treese. “And of course pitching with the lead helps a lot.”
First baseman Brody Buchner ’26 had three RBIs. Catcher Eduard Fernandez ’26 had two RBIs. Shortstop Jaden Heble ’27 turned an unassisted double play to end the game.
“We hit the fastball well and we’ve faced this pitcher before, he throws strikes,” Buchner said. “We put the ball in play and made him work and it all worked out.”
The Falcons next face top-seeded The Hun School of Princeton in the first game of the championship series of the NJISAA Prep A Tournament at 1 p.m.
Tennis – Varsity Boys at NJISAA Prep A Championship
Rowing – Varsity Coed at Stotesbury Cup Regatta
Peddie rowing competed in the first of two days of the Stotesbury Cup Regatta, at Schuylkill River – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. All crews progressed to Saturday’s semifinals. The boys 2nd varsity 4+ had the best results of the day, with a third-place finish in the time trial. The Falcons next compete in the second of two days of the Stotesbury Cup Regatta, at Schuylkill River – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday, May 16.
Baseball – Varsity Boys at NJISAA Prep A Tournament vs. The Hun School of Princeton
The Peddie varsity boys baseball team (second seed) (11-6) fell to top-seeded The Hun School of Princeton, 14-4, on the road in six innings, in the second game of the NJISAA Prep A Tournament. Eduard Fernandez and Evan Treese gave the Falcons a 2-0 lead with back-to-back solo home runs in the top of the first inning. Brody Buchner started the game on the mound. Maverick Mullervy pitched in relief. The Falcons (1-1) next face fourth-seeded Blair Academy on Saturday, May 16 at 10 a.m. at The Hun School of Princeton, in the third game of the NJISAA Prep A Tournament.
Softball – Varsity Girls at Lawrence High School
The Peddie varsity girls softball team (8-11) fell to Lawrence High School, 18-8 on the road in five innings, in the final game of the season. Sam Kent went 2-for-2 with three RBIs, two walk, a double and three stolen bases. Jules Miele went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, a double, an RBI and a walk. Bella Oushalkas and Sophia Pei each went 1-for-1 with one run scored and an RBI.
Lacrosse – Varsity Boys at West Windsor-Plainsboro South High School
The Peddie varsity boys lacrosse team (9-6) defeated West Windsor-Plainsboro South High School, 19-2, on the road, in the final game of the season. John Giblin tallied five goals, seven assists and one ground ball. Christian Tharney added three goals and three assists. Aaron Uppal recorded three goals. Finn Carton and Jack Mahoney each notched two goals. Augie Casisdy notched a goal, three assists and five ground balls. Jake Fletcher, Pote Sophonsiri and Massimo Sheinin each added a goal. Fletcher also tallied nine ground balls. Ashwin Narayan had an assist. Hayden Nieves had six ground balls. Goalkeeper Rocco Annunziata made four saves and Aayan Uppal had three.
Lacrosse – Varsity Boys at NJISAA Prep A & B Semifinal vs. Blair Academy
The Peddie varsity boys lacrosse team (8-6) fell to Blair Academy, 15-8, in the 2025-2026 NJISAA Prep A & B Semifinal, on the road at Blair Academy. John Giblin tallied five goals, one assist and five ground balls. Christian Tharney added a goal, an assist and four ground balls. Augie Cassidy and Devin Dwolak each tallied a goal. Aaron Uppal had one assist. The Falcons next travel to West Windsor-Plainsboro South High School, for the final game of the season, on Friday, May 15 at 4 p.m.
Golf – Varsity Girls vs. NJISAA Prep A & B Championship (rain date 5/18)
The Peddie varsity girls golf team hosted and competed in the 2025-2026 NJISAA Prep A & B Championship, for the final event of the season, at Peddie Golf Club. The Falcons won the team championship with a 321, ahead of The Lawrenceville School and Blair Academy. Jane Wei ’27 won the individual title (69, -3). Ryland Portadin ’29 placed fourth.
“I’m extremely happy and grateful for our team to have such a good season, a coach that supports us and a well-bonded team that supports each other through this and such great facilities that Peddie Athletics has provided us,” Wei said. “I’m feeling very thankful for such a great season.”
“It feels really good, the girls have worked really really hard this season,” Head Coach Brian Dubrule said. “They practice hard, they play well and they’re really nice, and that’s a key to our sports at Peddie and they embody that. They’re a great team. We play five and we count four, so we had four girls do really well today and all five did really well, so they all could have counted. We have the luxury of play six, count four, this was play five, count four. They really all stepped up.”
“I had a mindset change,” Wei said on her individual title. “I played with the purpose of having fun and to have more love for the sport and it really just helped me fight through the day.”
“Jane has been second in a couple of tournaments and has been right there and today she played spectacularly,” Dubrule said on Wei’s performance. “She was so solid, she made no mistakes and played smart. She played like she did most of last year. It looks good for next year, everyone is a junior or younger, there are no seniors on the team.”
The Falcons close out the season as back-to-back MAPL team champions and now state champions.
Tennis – Varsity Boys vs. Robbinsville High School
The Peddie varsity boys tennis team (7-5) defeated Robbinsville High School, 4-1, at home. Devarsh Korada, Trin Pathomsak, Aiden Wan and William Wu were recognized for Senior Day.
Aiden Wan won 3-6, 7-5 (10-8) at first singles.
Trin Pathomsak won 6-0, 6-1 at second singles.
Aaron Linke won 7-5, 6-0 at third singles.
Kush Undavia and Varun Venkiteswawan won 6-2, 6-2 at first doubles.
The Falcons next compete in the 2025-2026 NJISAA Prep A Championship on Saturday, May 16 at 9 a.m. at The Lawrenceville School.
Tennis – JV Boys vs. Robbinsville High School
The Peddie junior varsity boys tennis team (2-8-1) fell to Robbinsville High School at home, 1-2, in the final match of the season. Farhaan Khan and Caden Daniel won at first doubles, 7-6, 6-4.
Golf – Varsity Boys vs. West Windsor-Plainsboro North High School & Princeton Day School
The Peddie varsity boys golf team hosted and competed in a tri-meet against West Windsor-Plainsboro North High School and Princeton Day School, in the final match of the season. Princeton Day School scored 165, Peddie scored 167 and West Windsor-Plainsboro North High School scored 169. Noah Kerlin recorded a team-best 40 for the Falcons. Bryan Lee added a 41. Oscar Jiang had a 42.
