Am I considered an international student?


You are considered an international student if you meet either of the following criteria:

  • You require an I-20 to study at Peddie.
  • Your family's primary residence is outside of the United States (regardless of citizenship).
  • Please note: To better facilitate the interview process for prospective students who reside and attend school in mainland China, Peddie School partners with Vericant. Please keep in mind that prior to scheduling an interview appointment, applicants need to complete and submit Part I (Student Biographic) of the Standard Application Online.Applicants who reside and attend school in Mainland China are required to complete a Vericant interview prior to scheduling and must have received an evaluation result from Peddie School.  This process may take up to three weeks. This is the case for admission interview appointments that happen on Peddie's campus or off-campus in various cities overseas.

As an International student, how should I begin the application process?

  1. Complete and submit the biographical section of the Standard Application Online (SAO) and pay the application fee before scheduling your interview.
  2. Schedule your Interview. Once Part 1 of the SAO has been submitted and the application fee has been paid, contact International Student Coordinator Violeta Rodriguez to schedule your interview. No interviews will be scheduled for applicants who have not completed and submitted the biographical section of the SAO and paid the application fee.

  3. Complete standardized testing and application.
  4. Please note: ALL documents for applications should be uploaded to the SAO. Do not send supporting documents via email.

If I miss the recommended December 15 Vericant deadline, can I still apply?

YES. After December 15, you may still contact Vericant for your interview. Peddie School will review your Vericant interview and application materials as spaces remain available.

Can I apply for financial aid as an international applicant?

Yes, however Peddie has limited funds available for this purpose. International families must fill out and submit the Parents’ Financial Statement online at, and also complete Peddie’s International Student Financial Aid form which can be obtained from the Admission Office.
