The Peddie Chronicle is a CASE Gold Winner.

The Peddie Chronicle has been named a 2018 Gold Winner by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) in the field of independent school alumni magazine publishing.

The judging panel praised the magazine for "capturing the essence of the school and all the things that make it special" and for feeling "accessible to both the younger and older generations of the alumni at the school." They also applauded the magazine's "well-written articles" and "interesting and unique pastel color palette."

Last fall Peddie unveiled the first significant redesign of the Peddie Chronicle in 12 years. Our goal was to present a magazine that is contemporary, original and easy to navigate, and that sparks an emotional connection with our audience of 10,000 Peddie alumni, parents, faculty and staff.

We focused on narrating institutional stories that sustain love, affection and affinity for Peddie and our community, and that reinforces the transformative nature of the Peddie experience. The “16 objects that define Peddie Culture” feature brings memories and meanings to life through relevant objects while the feature on “Peddie’s cool curriculum” highlights academic innovation.

Overall, our goal was to present a magazine that is original and approachable in both design and content and appeals to our distinct Peddie audience.
