Terms: 3
Grades: 11, 12, PG

The AP Physics C course is a rigorous second-year course for Peddie's most able and motivated physics students. Its primary purpose is to prepare students for the AP Physics C (Level C) exams. The course is divided into two parts: Mechanics (kinematics, dynamics, work and energy, momentum and collisions, rotational motion, gravitation, oscillations) and Electricity and Magnetism (electrostatics, electrical energy, current and circuits, magnetism, induction, Maxwell’s Equations), each of which take about half the year. Differential and integral calculus is used throughout the year.

Note: Students taking this course are required to take the AP Physics C exams.
