Prerequisite: Problem Solving 2: Algebra and Geometry or equivalent and Permission of the Department
Pre-Calculus covers the material necessary for subsequent enrollment in a calculus course, though at a pace and level less demanding than that required to prepare for an AP Calculus or full college-level Calculus course. Topics include linear, quadratic, rational, polynomial, absolute value, trigonometric and logarithmic functions, sequences and series, and an introduction to concepts that are fundamental to the study of Calculus.
