Investigation the Impact of Oil Spills on Biodiversity in the Gulf of Mexico Using Remote Sensing

The Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill occurred on April 20, 2010. This oil spill is the largest oil spill in history and it hurt ocean life in the Gulf of Mexico with 6,000 barrels of harmful oil. Remote sensing and coding was used to analyze various satellite images of the oil spill and to determine how the ocean was affected and damaged.
