As associate head of school, Catherine Rodrigue sets the direction of Peddie’s curriculum. Her expertise has been instrumental in ensuring instructional continuity as Peddie temporarily transitions to distance learning. 

With just a few tweaks, students are following Peddie’s regular daily and weekly schedule in our online learning management system. Additional technology tools, like online group meetings, continue to be shared with faculty.

“It’s important for students to have a pattern that reinforces the feeling classes are in session,” said Rodrigue. “We are a smart, adaptable, creative and committed faculty. I know we can deliver a quality online experience.” 

More than ever, Rodrigue values the strong department chair structure and highly functional teaching teams that Peddie has developed over many years. “Constant peer-to-peer collaboration between teachers has helped us maintain our high-quality education, even as the coronavirus has completely disrupted our schools and communities,” she said.
