A Comparison of Spanish and American Healthcare Systems and Their Responses to COVID-19
I did research on the Spanish healthcare system and compared it to the American one. I then interviewed Mr. Ruiz about his experience with the Spanish healthcare system. Finally, I reached out to a friend in Spain to hear about her experience living in Madrid during the pandemic and compared it to my own in New Jersey.
No matter how sophisticated your healthcare system is, no one was ready for the pandemic. It is up to the government and the people to stop the spread and save lives. Avery Best ’21
