Jewish Heritage Club

Peddie's Jewish Heritage Club (JHC) is an affinity group focused on providing a forum for Jewish students to discuss their experiences related to their identity, heritage and values. Another one of our goals is to initiate conversations about Jewish history, politics, anti-Semitism and other topics of concern to the Jewish people. We give Jewish students opportunities to discuss issues that arise for them related to this aspect of their identity. We also aim to teach students unfamiliar with Judaism through fun and educational events, such as our annual Chanukah latke party in which we share the unique customs and culture of Judaism with our fellow students. Additionally, JHC strives to give Jewish students chances to observe their religion away from their local homes and synagogues. We hope that our events provide all students with a better understanding of the Jewish culture, and give Jewish students at Peddie opportunities to think about and practice their religion away from  home.
