June may seem like a far-off dream in these cold winter months, but reunion is coming sooner than you think. Between the classic Peddie reunion activities you love to new and fun ways to reconnect, it’s sure to be a memorable weekend.
When we say Reunion Weekend, there are probably a few activities that spring to mind. Golf outings. Wine outings. Dinner by Peddie Lake. Lunch under the tent, fondly known as “clams under the tent.” Honoring Peddie athletes with the Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony. And of course, lots and lots of time spent catching up with your classmates and former teachers. These are the things that we can’t imagine reunion weekend without. So we didn’t. What we did do was add some great new ingredients to a beloved formula.
Start Saturday off the fun and gentle way while reliving your high school art classes with yoga taught by Peddie’s own Cathy Watkins.
Last year, alumni loved taking a peek into our new facilities with tours of the Digital Fabrication Lab and the new dormitories, Kaye and Green. This year, we’re back, with the Robotics team showing off their lab (and their robot, naturally) and a tour of the brand new, beautifully landscaped Armellino Quadrangle along with the new dorms that border it.
Associate Director for Reunions Laura Hazlett said, “The energy from the reunion class captains has been great to see. We’re looking forward to a robust and enthusiastic turnout by their classmates. They’ve been working hard and having an amazing time reconnecting with each other. I think their classmates will have a good time reconnecting too.”
Registration opens March 1st! Be sure to check out the schedule. Welcome home, Falcons. We’re excited to see you again.
