Two Falcons nominated for McDonald's All American games

Seniors John Golden and Haley Peters were officially nominated for inclusion on the 2010 McDonald’s All American High School Basketball teams. Final rosters will be announced during the 2010 McDonald’s All American H.S. Basketball Games Selection Show presented by Safelite AutoGlass, Feb. 11 at 5:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
The current nominee pool of approximately 885 girls and 1,260 boys is narrowed to the top 24 boys and 24 girls high school players by the McDonald’s Selection Committee, which is comprised of the nation’s most knowledgeable high school analysts, prep scouts, high school newspaper reporters and prestigious basketball coaches.
The 2010 McDonald’s All American High School Basketball Games will feature an East vs. West showdown on March 31 at Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio. This year marks the 33rd anniversary of the boys McDonald’s All-American Game and the ninth annual girls Game.
