The Peddie community commemorated Martin Luther King Jr. Day with seminars and workshops on “Social Justice: Toward a More Fair and Just Society.” The day began with a keynote address by Omar Wasow in the Ayer Memorial Chapel – the same building where King himself spoke to Peddie students in 1957 – six years before his “I Have a Dream” speech – when he was a young Baptist minister and Peddie was a Baptist school.
Marking its 43rd year, the Peddie School Invitational Tournament kicked off Friday, Dec. 11, with eight teams vying for the title at the Erik B. Hanson Field House. Peddie places fifth as Kiski School takes home the crown in their first tournament appearance.
The Peddie School Athletic Department hosted its 19th annual Fall Sports Banquet on Thursday at the Caspersen Campus Center dining hall, celebrating the outstanding achievements of student-athletes from seven varsity teams.
