Comments:

Both girls boats raced well in their season opener. The first boat had the fastest overall time out of four heats of girls fours. Only 11 seconds behind them, the 2^nd boat had the 4^th fastest time out of the 19 crews spread throughout all of the heats. The varsity led most of the way giving Shelley a solid debut at stroke. The 2^nd boat was third for a good portion of the race,

The third boat did not compete due to injury.
