Robotics teacher/Creative technology innovator

Peddie School seeks an energetic and innovative teacher to teach robotics and to establish and develop a Stanford d.School/NYU ITP-style space on our campus.  The intent is to provide a space where students and faculty come to work in the intersections of arts, programming, fabrication, and data, with the goal of solving problems and expressing themselves creatively.  Candidate skills and passions must span four areas: creative problem solving, digital fabrication, teaching/learning, and programming/robotics. The successful candidate will have experience with a variety of tools that bridge the real and the electronic worlds: 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, sensors, effectors, Arduino/RPi devices, and so on.   Most important is a love of working with youth and the ability to reach and teach high school students.  Please send resume for consideration to: Attn. Full-time English teacher

Peddie seeks a full-time English teacher for the 2014-15 academic year.   Candidates must have completed significant study in English literature and possess an excellent college/university record, facility with classroom technologies, and excellent writing skills.   This position requires additional residential responsibilities, including dorm supervision and coaching.
