Blair Rivalry

Intense competition. Nail-biting finishes. Hundreds of cheering students.

This is Blair Day. For everyone who has worn the blue and gold, whether an athlete or not, Blair Day is a beloved tradition. And Blair Week is likely to be one of the most memorable weeks of any Falcon's life.

Each November, Blair Day is the culmination of our fall sports season, a full day dedicated to athletic competition against Blair Academy. After a unique day of contests in which every game counts equally, the Kelley-Potter Cup is awarded to the school with the greatest number of wins. Often, the awarding of the cup comes down to the final results of the football pairing, but it can (and has) come down to the wire as hundreds of fans crowd in to watch the back-and-forth action of a JV girls tennis doubles match.

Blair Day leaves Peddie students with lifelong memories hard-fought wins and losses, but also sportsmanship, school spirit and friendship. As our students become part of the tradition, the tradition becomes a part of them.
