Blair Rivalry

Peddie-Blair Rivalry

The Peddie School and Blair Academy represent the oldest prep school rivalry in New Jersey. Except for 1944, when a polio outbreak at Peddie canceled the game, the Peddie Falcons and Blair Buccaneers have faced off every year since 1903. On Peddie's campus, the rivalry has spurred the much-anticipated Peddie-Blair Week, the most spirited week of the year.

The Peddie School Invitational Tournament, hosted by the Falcon boys varsity basketball team, has been kicking off the basketball season since 1973. Fans support the Falcons' Friday night opener with a "white out" and competition between the eight teams is tight. Get prepared for frantic action, great individual performances and nail-biting finishes!

The Peddie School Tip-Off Tournament

The Peddie School Tip-Off Tournament has been hosted by the Falcon girls varsity basketball team since 2016. With a slate of competitors from both inside and outside the Mid-Atlantic Prep League, the tournament gives teams a first opportunity to test their talents at the start of the season.
