Athletic Training

Peddie’s Athletic Training program is designed to optimize your health, fitness and safety on and off the field.

Our certified athletic trainers are healthcare professionals working under the supervision of Peddie’s school physician. They attend every Peddie home game and travel with teams on away games, working alongside physicians, orthopedic surgeons, school nurses and coaches to ensure that Peddie's athletes receive the best possible medical care.

Peddie’s Athletic Training facility has a wide range of cutting-edge equipment for rehabilitating injuries, including whirlpools, hydrocollators, ultrasound units, electrical stimulation units, a game-ready cryocompression unit, a LightForce Therapy Laser and exercise equipment for use in physical therapy.

Our athletic trainers specialize in injury prevention, intervention during emergency situations and management of acute or chronic medical conditions as related to fitness and sport injuries — all while educating student-athletes about preventative care and healthy physical habits.

I'm a strong believer in athletics as an extension of the classroom. The values we teach in athletics — teamwork, commitment, resilience — apply to every aspect of a student's life.Jose Roca, Head Athletic Trainer
