IRA Charitable Rollover

Peddie alumni and friends who have reached age 70 1/2 can take advantage of charitable IRA distributions each year. A direct transfer up to $100,000 from an individual retirement account to Peddie does not incur federal income tax. Gifts do not qualify for a charitable deduction, but may be counted toward an individual's minimum required distribution. For more information, please contact Regina Ketting at rketting@peddie.org or 609-944-7521.

Planned Gifts

Estate gifts offer significant tax advantages while allowing donors to make sizeable and important contributions to the future of Peddie. These gifts qualify you for membership in the Bell Society. Please visit our gift planning page or contact Regina Ketting for more information.

Gifts for the Future. The cornerstone gift of the Bell Society is the bequest intention, a gift in your will or revocable living trust. This future gift can take the form of a dollar amount or a percentage of your estate. Moreover, you can name Peddie as a beneficiary of your retirement plan, life insurance policy or other accounts. All of these result in federal estate tax deductions.

Gifts that Pay You Income. Life income plans provide you with a stream of payments and significant tax benefits, while making a meaningful gift to Peddie. Peddie offers a wide variety of planned gift options including charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts and the Peddie Pooled Income Fund.

I know that regardless of whether it was the $25 I gave when I first graduated from college or the more substantial amounts I continue to give as my means increase, every single dollar helps my alma mater to provide future students with the same wonderful experience I was so fortunate to have.
