To better facilitate the interview process for our students from China, we are excited to announce our new partnership with Vericant. Candidates who reside and attend school in China are required to interview with a representative from Vericant before scheduling an interview at Peddie School.
Vericant will conduct preliminary interviews and candidates will complete short writing samples during their visit with Vericant. Peddie School then will determine which students will be offered a second interview with a member of the Peddie School Admission Office. Please allow up to three weeks from our receipt of the Vericant interview to receive a response from Peddie School.
Please note: Vericant does not evaluate candidates, but rather sends all information to Peddie School for assessment. Your application fee does not include costs associated with the Vericant interview.
Peddie School recommends completion of the Vericant interview by December 15, 2015. This will allow approved Vericant applicants the opportunity to complete a second round interview with a Peddie School Admission Office staff member prior to the January 15, 2016 application deadline.
Yes, we require the Vericant interview for all applicants from China and do not make exceptions for applicants working with consultants. If the consultant with whom you are working has questions regarding this requirement, he or she may contact the Peddie School Admission Office directly.
Yes. Last year we received more requests for campus visits than we could accommodate. This year due to the high number of applications from China, we require a preliminary interview with Vericant for all Chinese applicants before we will schedule a campus visit.
